when did gm implement the obdII connector into our cars. question is i have a 1994 firebird, do i have obdII?

this is ghetto.. but it will answer your question.. look at the connectior under the dash.. below the steering wheel and to the console side..
does it look like it has a pinout similar to this

if it is. its OBD2.. if not is OBD1..
i for some reason cant remeber if they changed it in 94 or 95..

OBDII became a requirement in 96. Some pre-96 vehicles have what looks like an OBDII port, but it's really OBDI.
