Hey ive been wanting to get 6X9's in my car and i see my dads 00 bird has 6x9 in the back panels in the trunk. do u know what year they sared puting these in our cars? cuz ive been trying to fid the panels, thanks guys

The speakers in the trunk are absolutely useless, get rid of them. it's far better to get a good set of components in the front and leave all the back speaker out.

the speakers in the trunk of the car's with the monsoon sound system are not 6x9's as best as I remember from my brothers 99 ws6. If you take the panel off you will see that they are like a 6 1/2 and a tweeter they just put it under one cover so it looks like a 6x9. I dont know if this helps but that's how I remember it when we took them off last time (to change a tail lite). I'll go check when he gets home and let you know for certan.

There 4 1/2's and a tweeter i'm in the process of making a 6 1/2 sub fit so i can run a three sub system. Also i pulled these from a junkyardMy new ride 2000 camaro, No mods yet still waiting for warranty to run out then all out heads, cam, and superchargerComment
