would it sound weird if say i got a 2 channel amp and powered my four speakers instead of a 4 channel amp?? i figured out a way of wiring it but would this be a bad idea?

I have a 6 channel amp that has 4 channels powering the 2 12s :D

Make sure the impedence is right for the speakers, but you should be fine. I forget off the top of my head how you need to wire them, but it depends on the impedence of the amp, and the impedence of the speakers. I want to say the speakers are either 4 or 8 OHMs. I think you want to wire them in series, I think, I always get those messed up, I dont use it enough to remember.
