I got that deal. I have them hooked up to an 800w mono pioneer amp. Got them in a sealed box with 1.0 cf of airspace a piece. For the money, I don't think it could be beat...but if they weren't on sale, i'd get something that could handle more power for $20 more dollars.
The subs sound good to me, they hit hard and stuff. ...they vibrate the seats for a pretty good back massage...good subs for the money...excellent deal.
Car/Sounddomain isn't the cheapest place to buy audio gear. Check out this deal on some Comp VRs. Damn near the same price. Strongly recommend stepping up to the VR line. Only a couple bucks more. And as far as the value of those particular subs, I think you'll be pleased. They are decent. And when you can buy two decent 12"s for under $100 new..... great bargain. Much better bang for the buck over Type-R's or even the Type-S's. Got an amp yet? Box yet? What are your plans?
