hey guys my car has the 500 watt monsoon system but i was wondering if i change the head unit will i loose the 500 watts stero system?

Go head. Just plug and play. Install is the same as it would be for any other head unit. You'll need a dash kit, wiring harness and an antenna adapter. You can pick them all up at Best Buy, Circuit City or any other local audio shop.
