Hey guys, i have a couple 10's in my trunk with a custom made box. Inside the car it sounds amazing, very clear, no rattling or nething. However, on the outside, the hatch/lights/panels rattle like crazy! It sounds absolutely retarded. Do you guys know of doing anything to insulate or stop that rattling somehow?
I have tried to get rid of the rattles on my car but it still does, do the following.
1) Tighen all the bolts/skrews around the hatch pay carefull attention to the ones that hold down the wing.
2) buy a bottle or two of foam expanding stuff and fill up the hatch with it to make it stiff. But be VERY carefull not to over do it and make sure to cover everything you can cause this stuff sticks to anything and does NOT come off
3) the panel that says CAMARO take this one off and turn it around and put some dynamat on the insde to give it some weight and put it back on tightly.
4) the tail lights just make sure the little butterfly is tight as can be.
