what is everyones opinions on rockford fosgate subs.. i think the ones i'm talkin about are punch stage 3's... and i would be gettin 12's if i got them.. i'm thinkin about just gettin rid of my subs and buyin some that i could use that new amp on

I ran three RF 10" HX2's for a few years on a RF bd1000a1. Took my beating. [img]smile.gif[/img] .75cuft sealed each and did 145.2 on the dash legal.Comment

wicked i have the hifonics amp hes talkin about.. its a brutus 1205d.. and its brand new but too much for my subs so i was thinkin about gettin diferent ones..

by they dont play i mean their not joke, they mean business your going to need a large amp to push them. IF im not mistaken each one handles 1,000 RMS.Comment

how much do you plan on paying for them? Those subs are good but you can find much better for the price. 2 12 inch Adire Shivas ($125 each) will hit harder lower and have much better sound quality and build quality. There are several other less known brands with similar charictaristics. Do a search for Adire, Resonant Engineering, ID Max, Oz Matrix, Elemental Designs. Even the lowest end sub from any of these manufacturers will be a better and around the same price.99 camaro conv. 18in 100 spoke rims, body kit, ac delco iridiums, taylor 8mm wires, 2 12\' L7 soloberics with 1500 rms. I had a rf he2 12 back in the day, I won't buy another rf sub or their amps gain was hard to adjust. Honestly I have never heard a bad thing about any of the companies i listed but if it was me i would go with adire or resonant engineering. They use the new XBL2 TM motor. they are known for both high spl and extreme sound quality. The only problem is, the adires are not in stack anywhere right now and havent been for a while. This is why im running 2 kicker L7's instaed of 2 Adire brahms. (Plus 1 got a good deal on them as well)Originally posted by bret_xi:
