It lets you know if you're running too rich or lean. They're not very hard to install and cost about $50, and they look cool.

Actually they don't tell you **** unless you have a wideband o2 sensor, which we don't. Don't get one... please, all they do is dance around and look pretty and give inaccurate results. I have first hand experience on this.

Get fuel pressure or something.

I have to disagree with you, if you're running nitrous or have a blower and you notice that you're lean, it then you know you have a problem... But yea, if you don't know what you're looking at, then yea, they are worthless.

The Air/Fuel guage is basically just nice to look at. I have one and I think it is a very cool mod. They cost $30-$60, and are very easy to install. If you decide to get one, all you have to do is find a 12v source, 2 grounds, dash lighting, (another 12v) and O2 sensor connection. Very easy.

A small TTT here- if you get a wideband O2 sensor, will it hook up to a stock computer and work ok with it? As in, will the stock computer read the wideband and not get screwed up. This is a 2000 year car by the way...

I guess I wouldn't know then? The stupid gauge was reading RICH when it reality the Autotap read LEAN! That's NOT good. If you do not get a wideband o2 sensor the A/F gauge is W O R T H L E S S.

And please, camaro_speedemon, don't try to put me in my place... you missed.

you guys are both right in your own way. justin is right because the a/f gauge isnt very accurate, and i side with him about getting the wideband or even an egt which will be more accurate. the thing is that the stock setup will only go wideband after 75 or 80% throttle. when you go past there, you get a proper reading of what the fuel is doing. i trust it! jsut wish mine was ligthing up right now, must be too rich.lol
boost, you got it???

Hmmm.... Did you ever realize that you might have gotten a faulty A/F Gauge?? Because mine reads right along with Autotap. Just because I disagree with you, I'm putting you in your place?
