low voltage on battery

last night i was driving home and i looked in my rearview and saw that the color changing LED on my amp was flashing yellow. i looked up what it meant and it said that it means the amp is recieving less that 11 volts of power. so today i started my car and when i was going to school the sub wasnt hitting, so im like what the **** and i pull over, check all the connections and its all good. get back in, still not working. start driving and get on it a little bit and all of a sudden its working again. so i started watching the volt meter on my dashboard and when im stopped it stays right around 11, and when im driving it stays right about at 13. Does this mean my battary is going to die???

o yea and also the volts on the cap are only around 8 when its normally about 11-13.

It's actually probably your alternator that's going downhill, not your battery.

Have someone with a bench tester check it out, they've got 'em at autozone and you can use 'em for free.

Yea thats the ONLY thing AutoZone it good for, I was having the same problem and it was the alt.
