I did see a custom install in a 92 Camaro. They had one Stroker15 inch in a huge ported box and 1500 watts, and the glass did shatter! I never saw the car again, but my friend that installs said that they replaced the rear window with plexiglass.

I used to run four solobaric S12L7's. It placed in the upper 150's. The general rule is; double the power, double the woofer, and gain 3 db. I've heard a single 10 that runs at 144.4 since it has broken in. It's simply the box design. and actually, those 3 eights could max out well over 152 db in the right enclosure.
Also, the solobaric twelves are rated at 750 watts RMS, not 300. that twelve wasn't even being touched. And other companies are producing similar ideas to the L7. For example; the JL audio W7. It maximizes cone area with depth, not diameter. And the hex series subs from Xtant. Just look around. The L7 has changed the market. And, it took nearly every title this year. It is the best SPL sub. THe reason everyone doesn't use it is because they are sponsored by other companies. Kicker can't provide everyones equipment. It's like buying a Geo. Why? there is better out there. Think about it. Hey, i heard those subs i liked them but just wanted JL audio stuff i just like there products. anything is possible i think you can get low 150's just be ready to send money out the a$$. get 4 of em and run them isobaric like i got mine dam it is loud [img]graemlins/omg.gif[/img]
