fog light out, not bulb

hey folks, one of my fog lights is out.. the passenger side.. and its not the bulb.. i've replaced the bulb and it still doesnt work, and i've taken the bulb from the broken side and put it on the other side and it works fine

for a few months now, the bulb has been on and off.. one day someone would comment it wasnt working and i check an its not working, i drive somewhere its working..

but i think its done for good this time, for the first time i actually went in to check out the connections.. i actually got it to work, i dont know how.. i put it back in the housing and bam, doesnt work again.. so i pull it out again and from then on no matter what it did i could not get it to work again.. i checked all the connections and wiring and from what i can see theres no problems with them..

its not the fuse, cause that would disable both fog lights would it not?

any ideas?

my headlight did the same thing, so i bought new ones and when i went in there and started jiggling stuff around the light came back on. crappy connections is ur problem most likely.
