Well here’s what happened I was on my way home from school driving in the rain and I got home and whata know the passenger headlight wont go back down there’s no grinding sounds and I can move it fine with the manual override. I'm guessing maybe water got into the harness where it makes the connection to the motor, I mean there is no action at all from it and they have never given me trouble, no grinding noises or any signs of going bad. Any ideas? I'm going to take the light assembly apart tomorrow and see what’s going on. Are there any fuses or relays that control the motors for the headlights?
Fixed it today the canon plug where the motor connects to the harness was ridiculously corroded so I cleaned it up with some contact cleaner and used some dielectric grease, works great!
Some of the metal contacts in my connectors were broken (have no idea what the first owner did), shoved some solder in there and voila, problem fixed. Those connectors do get very corroded though.
