    i came across this on ebay, its a custom MTX eclosure with an amp built in as well. does anyone have an enclosure like that and will it fit in any f-body? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...spagename=WDVW

    You can get an unloaded custom stealth off me http://www.subthump.com/acamarostealth.htm
    and put your favorite sub in it and a real amp. It's better than being stuck with a mtx amp and sub that are sub par. Especially if you have a sub or amp already.

      yeah, thats probably the better route to go with it. How does the box stay in place? I imagine it doesnt just fit snug on its own, but to put a bracket on it and screw it down or something like that?

        Which box? The plastic ones are notorious for sliding around because they fit the hole loose to begin with and the plastic is very slick.

        My box doesn't move at all period. It fits the hole tighter and the materials on the box grab the carpet better. I have a 10L7 (20 lb sub) in mine right now and I have no problems with it moving around. It's solid and stays put.

          Ive been thinkin of doin a similiar setup i was goin to use a jl 10w3. what do you think of yours? u like it?

            i have it...the amp it comes with sucks @ss...its got no power...i drilled though the back and supplied my own power too it...now it hits nice [img]smile.gif[/img]
