Any thoughts on these subs, supposed to be clean and hit hard, anyone herd em yet?

    I own one. a 12" svc. in a 1 cu ft box.
The old "studio" series is the same exact thing.
I bought mine used from someone who really pushed it with a bigger amp than it needed, and it still does great.
He bought a 15" one and proceeded to thrash it, and it still works great also.

I like how clean it sounds, and how positively low it is capable of going audibly. The ones I know of hold up well. I also like the fact that I have a good brand that not every third car on the road has in it...

The only downside is it's not the most efficient sub, but I think it's great for low, clear, and durability for a SQ-oriented sub. Granted, there are others here who know more about this stuff than I do, and I am pretty biased toward the Memphis stuff given my good experience.

yeah memphis makes some pretty kick but products and the M-series is no exception. its a great sub that tends to bridge the gap of SQ and SPL depending on your amp choice. I have been very impressed with the cars i have seen that use memphis.
