adding aftermarket speakers to bose system

Okay here's the deal, I just bought 6.5 inch components and 6.5 speakers for the rear. Also, I just purchased a new JVC deck and what to take out all the BOSE stereo stuff and install this new stuff. Do I have to run new speaker wire from the HU to the speakers or can I just cut the wires going to and from the BOSE amps and connect the wires back together. I'm gonna be running the components off an amp so I guess it really doesn't matter about them, but what about the rear speakers?

You can use the stock wiring if you're going to just run the fronts off the HU and not going to run them off an amp. There are 4 wires in the harness, but you find which 2 of the 4 are signal wires and can splice into them.

As for the rear, to my knowledge, I don't think you can use the same wiring. I think you have to run new wires to the rear ones, unfortunately. I could be wrong, but from what I've found out the signal just doesn't go from the HU thru the stock wiring to the rear.

How hard would it be to run the speaker wire to the rear speakers. Would it interfere with the power wire running up along the passenger side?

Also, should I take out the seats to make the install easier?

It shouldn't be too hard. You should be able to route it up under the dash and then take the plastic runner that goes along the inside bottom of the door jamb and run it under the carpet there, and bring it up right into the sail panel. It would be 100% out of sight that way.
