  • component and two way

I don't know too much about stereo but I got a nice component setup for my b-day and I was wondering If I could use both component and two ways at the same time or will the two ways just make the component sound like crap?
Gonna put the alpine components in the door, and I was thinking of using infinity kappas in the back or can I use alpine in the back and just plug them into the alpine component crossovers used in the front?

I know I'm not very knowledgeable on component. Any knowledge or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Some people, including myself, only like to use components up front and subwoofers in the back. However, if you want a little extra sound in the back for rear fill, the 2-way Kappa's in the back will be fine.

yup 2-way in the rear would be fine though i recomend only using the front speakers because it allows you better soundstaging.

I've heard a lot of people say that but I tend to disagree. I would definitely go with some 2 or 3 ways for rear fill, especially if you're running low-power components with high-powered subs.
