Yes, i need major help, being new to the entire aftermarket stereo scene. I have about $600-700 give or take a few bucks, to put into a system. I need to know what is the best system setup out there you could make with these funds. I listen to mostly rock and rap.
Be sure to read our FAQ section in the modifications encyclopedia.
Rock and rap. Gotcha. $6-700. Ok, but a couple questions..... are you looking for EVERYTHING? I mean, are you replacing the stock headunit also? Already have an aftermarket headunit? You have t-tops? Would you be ok with having a regular square box in your trunk with maybe a single 10" sub? Or are you set on having something similar to the stealth box? The stealth is about $112 new in itself.... that's why I ask. Or maybe you could find some good deals on used equipment? Let us know about the above questions and we can make some recommendations for that price range.
To answer some questions, i will be replacing the head unit. No T-Tops. I probably should have been more specific in saying that for about $600-$700 i need speakers, headunit, sub(s), and amp. Im ok with any type of sub boxes, just as long as they fit in the deep well of the trunk.
Second, what other stuff will i need to accompany these?
Whatever you decide on, make sure you buy it all online. You can find the same products for hundreds less than what stores charge, just do a little bit of shopping. I spent about 1k on my system (bought half online, half from stores) and could have brought it down around 750 if i had bought it all online. Good luck!
check out my page for a nice and unique box idea...this was a 3-day custom build but you could make something like it youself easy...have fun
i would check out elemental design, they are offering full system deals for around 800 and have everything but the HU. this is also all top notch equipment (better than infinity!), i would then recomend getting an eclipse HU and call it a day ;) . www.edesignaudio.com
