12 or 10 and what brand?

im gonna get a milhouse box but im not sure what to put in it i was just wanting some advice from those who know better than i do. so any of you guys with that style box tell me what you recomend

How much money do you have?

Buy a 12 inch Milhouse, buy a 12 inch Adire Brahma $380, and buy a JBL BP1200.1 $280

This is what I have, and I love it. The bass gives perfect SQ on regular songs, and when I put in techno it pounds just like it should. Maybe even to much.

On a budget, you could get a 12 inch Milhouse, a 12 inch Adire Shiva $125, and a JBL BP600.1 $225
I don't think that combo has been done yet.

For other brands, head over to www.carsound.com and look over the Richard Clark forum and look for posts about subs. People there only run good stuff.


Edit - actually you would still need a 1200.1 for the Shiva, or something else that puts out 600watts at 4ohms

Yeah, the shiva would be a nice choice. Even a 12W3 would work great. Just get an amp with plenty of power and you'll be amazed. :D

Those three subs that have been mentioned are some of, if not, the best out there. Get one of those three. Brahma, Shiva or the JL W3.

Single 12 or dual 10s.

JL Audio makes the best sounding subs for the price. Even 1 12W0 or 10WO (two is better) in your rear hatch area will completely change your sound. Find 'em on Ebay cheeeep.

I'm not a big fan of JL, but I would pick JL over Eclipse.

If you go with JL, take a look at the newer V2 series. I hear they hit way harder than previous models.
