Yep cars 12 years old. It was ordered with the Bose Speaker option. Only has 2 speakers in front in doors and 1 in back. Well the driver side speaker finally blew on me. It Still plays highs but when bass goes through it it rattles all to hell.
What size speaker is that? Also would yaull recommend going 2 new speakers in front or replacing with a bose speaker?
Whats some good door speakers. My head unit is 50 x 4. Im not trying to have to buy an amp to just power door speakers.

not sure but does ypur system have a amp in the trunk behind the spair? is so get some new 6.5's the camaros' have 6.5 in doors and sides of rear seats.
You cant do much at all with the bose system. Each speaker has its own individual amp, so I dont think aftermarket speakers would work very well at all. The way its supposed to be setup is two speakers up front in the doors, two in the sail panels or over the back seats and one in the trunk area, I thinks its labled as a sub but in my bro's 95 z28 with the bose system it played full range while the sail panel speaker were crossed over mostly bass, and then the fronts only put out mids and highs. If you want to get replacements and keep the bose system I sudjest looking on ebay. They cost a fortune from the dealer.
When I listened to the bose system in my brother's z28, it sounds real good for a factory system. You just got bad speakers thats all.
you need 2 ohm speakers, go to crutchfield . com and you can find some "Kappa" speakers by Infinity that are 2 ohm in that size.
Its is about $129 a pair I think
