I second that one. Are both of the Crossfires going to the subs? Those DD's will handle a TON of power. How many watts RMS per sub? What is the box tuned to? Got any pics of the installation? Is the bottom of the box made out of fiberglass? How many cubic feet is the box? heheheh That's enough questions I guess....

nice box, very unique, i love it

as for the cap, don't waste your time with a 1farad, or hell even 2, buy the alumapro 15 farad cap, it'll take car of your problems for sure

im running a second battery(of sorts, its a batcap) so i dont really want a cap, the entire bottom half of the box, and maybe even the top im not sure, is fiberglass, i think its just a tad over 4 cubic feet, as for what its tuned, im not sure, but i was given an estimated 47 hz, though i cant guarantee that, amps are running full power, 1 amp per 2 subs, so roughly 600w per sub, burping, id guess around 750 per sub, each sub is DVC, so around 300-375 per voice coil, which isnt bad, im thinking about adding more amps in though....hehe

They'll handle every bit of it. If you don't have one already, you'll need a high output alternator.

very nice set up .. i want to see whats under the lid. and why arent all the subs flush mounted ?...nice choice in equiptment too . .. .. i suggust more batteries because your alternator is not going to like the extreme added voltage pull.. i have a 15 ferad cap and it kind of helps my mmats not kill the stock alternater. and a bigger port if your going to do competition .i am very familiar with DD and they require a ton of box space and a nice big port...so thats why i am interested in seeing under the lid. post some pics for us please

do they make DD's in 12"?
also, are you going to replace your rear hatch window with lexan? With that much air moving it may push your glass one out.

Exactly what I was thinking. That looks like a pretty small port for DD's.

                      Very nice..

That's a very clean looking set up. Did you build this or did you have it done?

looks very good, but with 4 tens, shouldnt you be hitting harder than 146 db's, i have two twelve rockfords in a sealed box with only one amp and im hitting 147.3 db's. My car is also a convertible where all the base seaps out of the rag top, if it were a hatch they guys who tested it said it should be way louder. :D

                              the 146 db was with 2 10s
im shooting for low 150s with the 4 10s and the 1000Ds

as far as mike having the loudest, i dunno, i dont keep track with alot of IASCA sound stuff, i just know that this "Mike took 1st in Extreme. 2nd in DB5 and he also broke his old B&K World Record of 172.0db with 173.3db. Mike Rules!!!" was posted on his site, and he advertises it alot
i have him hitting a 173 flat on video on the dash non outlaw, it was crazy, id hate to be stuck in that van when they crank it up
