Alright well long story short I had a stock CD player changed it up to a JVC then I just today changed that to a Sony that I have had forever! well then it was hooked up and it was playing, well what sux big major **** is that while it was playing it just up and went out? no lights on it no nothing!? I couldnt get it to play, it will accept and eject a CD in and out, well I tried putting my JVC back in and same thing it lights up for a second (sony didnt light up at all) and then it just sorta dies out? I then took it out and went and got my old Monsoon Factory deck and put that in and once again no lights come on no time shows up no radio no CD no anything!?!?

check the 12v ignition wire (red) if its got no power you might wanna check your fuses. sounds like you still got constant 12v on the yellow wire just no ignition. you could also try putting the red and yellow wires together on the deck side of the harness and connect to to just the yellow 12v constant to see if it works. just make sure if you leave it that way to take the face off or turn off the radio cause it will drain your batt.1990 Firebird 3.1 T-Tops
Flowmaster exhaust
Kenwood MP 825 Deck
4\" Rockfords w/ tweet in dash plate
3 Way 6x9 Rockords in rear sails
1970 Camaro 350
