So i've been in love with H.U.D's (heads up display)forever. I was thinking if it is possible to actually have one of these on a Camaro. My step father has one on his Nissan Maxima and is willing to give it to me but i don't know what to do. Is it possible to install this on my 1995 Camaro and if so where can i get it installed. I would love some feedback. Tell me what you guys think!

lingenfelter makes one that they say will work work in any 4,6,8 maybe even 10 cylinder cars. do a search on here cuz its been discussed. problem is that its a box, and a box sitting on your dash may not look good. May have to figure out a way to cut the dash and insert the box.

This would probably be a wiring nightmare. To get a nissan part to work with a GM car will most likely be a pita.2001 Arctic White Firebird With Black Drop Top

3:42 Gears
Zexel LSD
BMR upper A-Arms
Trans Am exhaust with 3\" I-pipe and cutout
Modified intake
Mecham Hood
Trans Go shift kit
Making rear control arms and panhard

you'd have to find out what wires he tapped into on his maxima, then try to find the same ones under the dash going or coming from the pcm. It'd be a pain to do it this way, but it's the only way I could think of on a used hud (I'm guessing) without instructions.
edit:
my guess would be power, ground, and then the obd speed sensor wire form the pcm. If it works on the nissan then you're in good shape for trial and error. But you'll have to make sure both cars are obdI or II, and hope they give the same type of readings that you have to tap into.

Another problem (maybe I ahven't looked into it enough) is that our windshields are pretty slanted, and there is no real space to put the HUD unit.2002 Silver Metallic A4 Firebird - All Options
