I have monsoon 2002 bird.
I took out the stock hu and put in a Kenwood deck for 2 years. Worked fine.
I bought a cheap indash dvd HU to use with my visor LCD.
The problem is when i turn on the HU it Works fine, then about 5 seconds later the front speekers shut down, then 4 sec later the middle speekers shut down then a few seconds later the back ones do. Then it sounds like im powering laptop speekers in my car. (very quiet)
How how can i keep the amp turned on? The faq says "The Monsoon amp doesnt have a remote turn on. It senses current from the speaker inputs to turn the amp on."
