Cubby box

I have a box in my divers side cubby. It holds a 10inch L7. The system and the sub are out of control only problem is that the sub hits so hard that the screws actually get loosened by the bass! So i was wonderin if anyone knew a trick that i could do to get the sub to stay snug in the box, or if i am just going to get a box made of a better matterial or if there is anything else?

loc tite won't work in wood or mdf. try putting a dab of gorilla glue on the screws, that should hold them. You can pick some up at your local hardware store.

I don't think T-nuts will work, that locks into the sub not the box.

t-nuts go into the baffle from the back side. You can also use threaded inserts and machine bolts.

Can you explain that better? How am i going to close the box if i am screwing something in from the back side?

you dont screw it in from the backside, those nuts, replace the wood holding the screw in place...you bore the hole out large enough to fit the t0but sleeve in there, puch it in good and tight, now you can put lock-tite on your screw and badda bing...that t-nut is just another anchor I guess you could call it.
