I am in the process of upgrading all of the components of my system. And one of the issues I am trying to solve in this project in vibration I am getting from the left speaker panel in the door. The speaker cover has broken the little melt points, and vibrates like crazy. Sooo, I first tried dyno-matting it (since the clips still work fine), and that didn’t work. Tried a few other simple things, those didn’t work, and just now I tried using a binary epoxy that I use a lot. It’s like a 1600 PSI epoxy, and it worked great, for about 30 secs at high volume. Then it started again. The front drivers is kinda expensive, so there is no way I am running them with out the covers, and the unusual shape of the opening prevents a clean switch to another grill...
Any suggestions???
I am thinking trying the epoxy again, just goopin’ the piss out of it rather than the nice fine coat I used this time...
