Depends are the sub 2ohm, 4ohm, or 8ohm? If they are 2 ohm ya, they would get 125 watts each run it stereo, if they are 8ohm yes, 125 watts each, wire them parrelel and bridge the amp. If they are 4ohm you have to run it stereo or series them bridged, but either way you are looking at 62.5 watts each, which is almost nothing for power. If they are 4ohm best bet is to pickup a KX400.1

you can do that with dual voice coil subs.. i dint think you can with SVC.. i know you cant series then bridge with svc.. and it all depends on it the amp is 250 RMS or max.. that would make a big diference too

Just give the model number of the subs, we'll find some good amps. Kicker amps are great, but kinda pricey...

You can't wire svc subs in series or parellel huh? ROFL

It is sooooo easy to series svc subs, same way man, same way, and you can bridge the amp doing it that way. Obviously your knowledge is very limited, in electronics and in car audio in general almost everyone knows that a KX250.2 is a 250 watt rms 2 channel amp, it is 63.5 Watts rms at 4 ohm stereo 125 watts rms at 2 ohm stereo and 250 watts bridged mono at 4 ohm.

            Seriers wiring with svc subs-

Connect the + wire of the bridged amp to the positive side of subwoofer*a*, then run a wire from the negitive side of subwoofer *a* to the positive side of subwoofer *b*, and then connect the - lead of the bridged amplifier to subwoofer *b*s - lead.

Now you have succesfuly wired a set of SVC subs in series mode.

Here are a few numbers for you.
And Kicker Comps are SVC subs, the Comp VR is the DVC subs
Two 2 ohm subs in parallel - 1ohm
Two 2 ohm subs in series - 4ohm
Two 4 ohm subs in parallel - 2ohm
Two 4 ohm subs in series - 8ohm
Two 8 ohm subs in parallel - 4ohm
Two 8 ohm subs in series - 16ohm

Very simple, if you don't konw the imedance of your coils give us the model number, they are like C108 and C124. The C stands for Comp, the 10-12 ect stands for the size 10", 12" and the final number on kicker comps is the imedance of the voice coil. I will be glad to help you with any wiring if you don't understand it. I can even draw it out and post a pic for ya.

True there but he didn't say anything about wanting a cheap amp.....

u dont have to be a smart ***... i said u cant wire series then parrallel with i dont think....i know u can with dvc because you can wire the subs in series then the drivers themselves in parrallel.. i didnt think you could do this with svc maybe i was wrong. my knowledge of audio and electronics is limited because i dont like kicker and i dont know anything about their stuff? that makes sense!! Okay I see ya you just poorly worded it above then, sorry in that case. No in that case you are correct you cannot wire a single voice coil sub series in itself, infact its purely parallel to the amp, you can just wire two subs in parallel mode or series with each other, but not like the subs in series and then parallel to the amp no.

Meh Kicker is not my favorite either, but they do make a good product.
