• Remote control range extender mod!

I saw this on www.ls2.com and it works.

The GM remote controls have really short ranges; here's how you can extend the remote's range.

Touch the remote control to your jaw while pushing the button. The remote's range will be significantly increased.

It really works; I've tried it.
I solemnly swear I am up to no good.

You body works as an antenna. Like back in the day when you could stand by the tv and get better reception.

dude, I tried it today going to my car. I normally have to be within like 20 feet of my car, it seemed like I was practically 60-70 feet away. No joke, it really works.

thought this was common knowledge? i had a Matrix RS2 alarm on my S-10, which had a 1/4 mile range before for me to start it, and with the chin thing i could no joke get it to work from like a little under a half mile.

amazing little find!

My Viper remote works from inside buildings with double sets of glass doors to unlock my car across a parking lot if I hold it up a little.

One cool thing I've noticed since I got it is that where I used to press my garage door remote button and not have it work until I was in my driveway ususally, but now I can be coming into my neighborhood and while going around the traffic circle over 300 feet from my house I can open the garage. I guess the antenna must be on a similar frequency or something. It's weird.
