Okay thats really simple then wire the sub in parralel, the voice coils +s together and -s together, then to the amp. That will get your sub running at 3ohms, which will give it the full 500 watts, but watch your gain, cause thats alot of power for a W3. But ya you are good to go!1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate

Kenwood, that is a powerful little amp, but it wont really give you the full kick like the JL. You will lose a bit of sound quality for sure there, probably not alot on subs alone, unless all your equipments is really high end, and you listen to really clean recorded music, *clasical or something alike*. But all in all that amp will do the trick. How much were you thinking about spending on an amp, maybe I can take a look at a bunch of places I know and see what I can dig up and give you some links.1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate

I found this one here go ahead and take a look. Its their top model amp, and they are a really well known and respected company, if you didn't already know.

That amp will put out 600 watts rms to any ideadance between 1-4ohms, so 600 watts into your sub at 3ohms, plenty more than enough to fulfill your desires 1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate

MRP-M650 not the MRD-M605 D...

It may be a year older from alpine, but that 1 yr older V12 amp, is twice what the new one is, plus you save like $20 Great AMP GREAT price!
Speakers-

These Alpine Type S, work great off a little power, they don't require you to use an external amp and put out decently, they have great midrange soft highs, and even a little punch tight bass.

These Alpine Type R, they will work well off a little power but will take the power if you want an amp like crazy, they sound very even and smooth, and will produce a suprisingly deep and solid bass note with a good amp.

Infinity, personally I am not a fan of the Reference line, I think their tweeters get shrill and uneven when the volume goes up. These Kappa's on the other hand, stay pretty smooth, the highs are a little louder than the highs from the Alpines, and they don't hold midrange quite as well.
Personally I would probably get the Alpine Type R's but take a gander, and see which one will work for you the best here.1995 Camaro 3.4 A4

CAI,IAT Relocate
