need help picking components!!

i have currently the elemental designs 6000's components and i need more!!!

Personally I don't like the references, infinity does make a good speaker no doubt about that, but I kinda always thought myself that the tweeters for the references get kinda shrill at high volume.

I do love the kappa and perfects! They are a lot smoother. But its all in taste, I suggest going to a few stores and listening to them at a louder volume and see what you like. If that can be an issue, what kind of music do you listen to, how do you like to listen to it, and what are the rest of your systems components, and I can help you figure out what could work for you.

ok my first set of components were kicker RS6 components i was pleased but i didnt have ttops, i listen to rock/rap/hiphop, depending on mood when i have ttops off i like to listen to it LOUD!! i have enough bass i just need more highs!! the components i have now are elemental designs 6000's components, i have there EU 700's mid bass and i love them but dissapointed with components

btw just checked out the perfects and a lil more than what i wanna pay now since i just bought this amp, the kappa( my 3rd link) seem to be a good bet for my amp, pushes 75 watts rms they handle 90, if i turn the amp down just a lil then maybe i can have a liking!!! atleast i hope soo!!!

WAIT those kappas are 2 ohms which means i could push 150 watts rms to them, if i had my amp turned down a lil then i should be able to squeeze a good 90 rms outta them correct???

I personally like the kappa series, but I'm biased since I have those in my car. I have a Kappas for my mid's and highs, kicker tweeters, and 1 jl audio 10w3 sub, powered by a 400w 4 channel amp, and a mtx amp for my subs. The kappas are clear and they can scream at high levels.
