I've searched, but didn't come up with exactly what I was looking for.

What are some alternative (to Dynamat) for sound deadening? I'm looking into B-Quiet since that's the only one that compares themselves.

How hard is it to take out your interior, install, and put back the interior?

Completely remove entire interior, depends, i can remove all panels, seats, console, carpet just under an hour. Just because i've done it before. I didn't remove the dash though.

As long as you have all the correct tools you need in front of you so you don't have to look for them, it won't take to long. 13 mm , torx 45, flat head power/handheld, pryer thingy to help remove seat belts, i might be forgetting something else.

Look at them carefully, and read a few reviews if you can on some...

A few require heat guns to apply *may or maynot be an issue*

Some have a really strong asphalt smell.

I have even seen a few that use a seperate glue...

But in either case if you take a look around for a bit and just read a bit on them, you can generally find a few that work close to as well as dynatmat with a fraction of the cost.

I have seen a few guys talking about fatmat here recently, might be a good idea to check back with them about how well it worked.

I know Cascade makes a decent one, and Tsunami make a good alternative.

I used fatmat its not to heavy duty witch worked good in a convertible i have had it in for about a week and a half and i still smell it for half a second when i open my door but by the time i sit down in my car its totaly gtone! works awsome on a cold day, little less effective in the how new mexico sun. ill get in my car in the morning befor the sun comes up and its quiet but then when i leave cl;*** at 2:30-3:00 its a lot hotter and its a little less effective.

I used 80sqft in my floor board and 20sqft in my trunk i am ordering more for the rest of the trunk and the doors. i recomend if you want to do the whole car get 100sqft and start at the fire wall and work back. throw it asfar under the black rubery plastic where your feet go and on the tranny hump and even "i did" go on top of it if engine/drivetain noice is an issue and i used 2 layers on the hump along the pannanger side floor where the cat converter is and exhaust runs. my interior is quiet but trunks still load i am doing 2 trunk layers later.

how much sound deadening material do I need to do my whole car? Including hatch and door panels?

ide say atleast 150 sqft maby even 200-250 for multi layers in spots. it goes faster thin youl think. i used 100sq ft easy no doors and missed under 1 side panel and some spots in trunk and ran out!. need like 80 more for what all i want getting 50 for now soon..
