  • Good location to splice into?

Hey everyone. A few days ago I got a set of headlights for my firebird with the "angel eye" halos. Here they are, just in case you're wondering.

I should have them by Tuesday. Anyways, I got to thinking...where would be a good place to splice into for 12v power? I was thinking of splicing the power for the angel eyes into my headlights, that way they would go on when my lights were on. Any other ideas?

I've searched, can't really come up with any results. Anyone have some ideas? I'd really appreciate it.

Oh yeah, those halo lights are always up on ebay. You just have to know the right size for the housing and I'm sure you can find them for you Camaro.

run them off the low beams, as you do not want them on, with the lights off, as it would be gay to drive with the pop up lights up if the headlights are not on.

Thats what I was thinking...is there any way to test which wire is for the low beams? I guess it's just trial and error?

They only have them for 98-up
It would be nice if they started making them for ours.

i am not sure on the 93-97 lights, just ground the one light, and test all 3 wires going to your headlight harness, unplug the harness, and push the wire in, nothing bad should happen. I know on my 98, there are 2 headlight bulbs, and only 2 wires per bulb, 1 black, and the other is colored, so the colored one is the hot wire.

Personally, i woudl use a multimeter, but by that post, im guessing you don't have one.
