still have bose problem

I have a 94 camaro with a bose tape deck. I am told that I can't use an aftermarket cd hu with my speakers because bose has amps at each speaker or something like that. However, I came across this adapter mechanism that supposely allows u to use aftermarket hu with bose speakers. Problem is... I talked to some people and they say that if I do that, i'll probably lose my factory sub. Does anybody know that if I use this adapter will I lose my sub in the hatch?

Also, this is starting to get complicated for me and I don't have a lot of money to spend on it right now. I'm assuming my other option is to buy a bose cd head unit. However, will all 5 speakers sub work with one of those? meaning the 2 door speakers, and 2 back and hatch sub. I have no clue on anything when it comes to stereos... sorry guys i'm a newbie.

If you're really strapped for cash, your best bet might be to buy a portable CD player with a good anti-skip system and a tape adapter. It wouldn't be the greatest thing in the world but I know what it's like to have no $$. It'd be a good temporary solution and you could still play cd's

Your second best bet after what MTMike said is to either buy a factory bose, or monsoon CD HU. They are pretty cheap and all your speakers will work just fine.
