what i would like to do is remove the stock fixed antenna. i had an idea of replacing it, rather then putting in a power one. have you seen the newer cars with an antenna in the rear glass? that is the kind of thing i would like to do. i know that i would have to buy some kind of stick on antenna, but i'm ok with that. has anyone ever seen these for sale, because i'm searching and coming up with nothing.

but you still need the radio man.... some local news or to find out where radio stations are giving away free junk :) but Sirius does own... other than the fact they charged me twice in one month...

I ran a hidden antenna from RatShack (RadioShack) for several years until I replaced my windshield. It was somewhere around $10 and sticks to the perimeter of your windshield. If done correctly, it will be completely hidden. I suggest removing the A-pilars and dash plate for the install. I was able to pick up radio stations further away (70 miles) and the local stations were more crisp and clear than with the stocker.
Can't find the bloody thing on RatShack's website.
