You can always make a resin sound enclosure.
General instructions:
Pattern and cut the enclosure base plate and speaker face plate out of plywood.
Attach the base plate to the speaker plate.
Get some light metal cloth and snips. Take a large piece of metal cloth and push it into the body cavity (kinda sick when you think about the term body cavity). Snip the excess folds and creases in the screen to relieve stress in the shape. Solder the some of the clipped portions together so the frame will keep its shape.
Remove the frame from the cavity, and attach it to the plywood pieces using screws, tacks, or staples.
Get a fiberglassing kit ... can of resin, some hardner, acetone, paint brush, roller or squeegee, tongs, and some fiberglass matting.
Mix a small portion of resin and hardner. Rip a small piece of matting with the tongs, dip the matting in the resin, and place it on the screen frame. Do this for several pieces, then lightly smooth the application with the roller or squeegee. Continue until the screen frame and speaker plate are covered. Let the resin cure. You can add a gel coat dye to the resin to apply scratch resistant color to the face plate.
You may choose to apply another layer of matting to the outer or inner side of the enclosure.
Sand the face plate smooth.
Determine where you want the terminal block on the enclosure. Cut the hole for the terminal block and epoxy the terminal block in place.
Glue a rubber, cork, or dynomat pad to the base of the enclosure. Apply liquid rubber or dynomat to any other part of the enclosure that contacts any part of the car body.
Stuff the box with speaker mat, and install the speaker.
Anyhow, lots of luck to ya!!!You can achieve anything for which you are prepared to pay the price.<br /> --ATTILA THE HUN
