Anyone ever seen or heard bout it? Plugs in, goes right into Microsoft Street and Maps 2004 which I already have. I need to make some stand or something for my laptop, and I know I wont have it in there daily, but on trips I go on with friends, we need to find food places and all HAHA. Seems like a pretty cool thing, USB GPS so Im hopin to pick one up cheap.

That sounds pretty cool. Anyone bought or made a custom stand for a laptop?

That says Streets and Trips 2002 and up, but I use Streets and Trips 2003 with my handheld GPS and don't recall seeing an option for USB...only serial. Could be wrong, but you may want to check that out.
Neat little GPS unit, though. ;)

Edit: Ok, I read through the help on my S&T, I guess that option is only shown if it detects one on USB.

I put an e-aby bid in for an earthmate a couple days ago (ends in an hour) for the purpose of cross country traveling and around Seattle, etc.

You can get an laptop stand on e-bay cheap, or go to google and search, you'll get tons of them (looks like quality is expensive though...)

I heard MS Streets And Trips sucks, it just shows your car thats bout it, but thats from user reviews. Other programs will show like 3D and stuff, and MPH.

I won the Delorme Earthmate with mapping software last night which looks like some good stuff. Apparently, it gives voice commands telling you where & when to turn such as "turn left on commonwelth street in 0.6 miles". It's also supposed to receive voice commands from the user such as "where am I?" or "shush".

I'll post when I get it and let everyone know how it is.

This is the only laptop stand I've ever seen for our cars. It's a little pricey though.
