I'm thinking of going with 2 mmats 12 pro cast and a d300. What does everyone think of their 6 1/2 component sets? I haven't heard anything about them and would like to hear about them before i invest 200.00

None of these people here use MMats. Try your post over at www.carsound.com in the Richard Clark forum.

      Yea tell me about it.

Seems like no one knows about any of the best stuff (MMats, Diamond, DD, etc). Just all this cheap fosgate chit.

Diamond all the way. I think i'm gonna add another 6.5 Hex driver and a 4 inch Hex driver on each side. If I can find the space. Toss in some MacDaddy's to replace this Audiobahn crap. Can't wait.

Not many people HERE know about that stuff because this is more of a V6 performence forum. It just happens to have a stereo section. I myself am using Rockford Fosgate chit, but I must say it's no where near crap. Yeah a lot of people don't know about Mmats, Memphis, Cadence, Adire, Kove, Massive, DD, etc. etc. etc. but that's just because people here are not into the audio scene as much as others.

I am, you seem to be, Cale is, 98V6 was smart enough to learn about MMats. We're in to car audio here. No need to bring my hobby down.

I've messed with mmats amps since i was 16 and imo you can't get a better amp for the money. I've never heard their subs or speakers, but i'm sure they can't be bad.
I know there isn't a lot of people in here that deal with higher end equiptment but for me, if i'm gonna spend a chunck of money than i might as well get top of the line.

Off topic question but has anyone ever installed a plexyglass rear window, or ever needed to. I'm worried that with several thousand watts i might shadder it. I'm not a know it all when it comes to a system, so sorry for dumb questions.

How was I bringing your hobby down? I mearly stated this is more of a performence forum. I thought you agreed with me because...

By saying that people here are not in to car audio as much as other places. I think the quantity of people who are interested in audio is different, but the quality of the interest is no less than other places.

It's cool though. I was just messing around. Not trying to start a bickering contest.

The reason I said to try www.carsound.com is because I know he will get better and more educated answers there. Not because this forum may be more performance oriented. I do have a V6 Firebird, but as far as the other boards in this forum, I don't care to read them. So, I don't really know what the rest of this place is about. I just check my audio and move on. Just like now...

i am in to car audio
                    and i use mmats....
and i am sponsored by mmats..
mmats pro cast series are excellent but not as good as the juggernaut but dont require as much power or air space as the juggernaut...
now i dont see to many people using their components...
i have heard one set up with their components..
they sounded sweet and had a very nice SQ...
but he had a nice epicenter and eq with the set up and a good install..
so what u use with them and how u instal them is always a key factor....
but i have never heard anything bad about mmats equiptment.
