They're not terrible and for the money - if youre not going competition - they'll sound far better than a stock headunit.

They are the low-end audio brand. The kind of stuff you find at a K-Mart, nuff said.

      Better than stock...maybe.....

If jensen are low-end, then what is Audiovox or JC Whitney?

I have been stunned by the quality (relative) of Jensen products lately. Talk about bang for the buck. My brother in law had one of the "100x4" jobs, (probably more like 35x4, but who's counting) and I was very impressed. It was bridgeable, had a built-in crossover, and it even had the option to add a remote!

I would say, however, if you can afford a Jensen amp, look into USA Amps, if they're still in business. Their amps are less flashy, but their ratings are more accurate. California amplifiers used to be pretty good, but I havn't seen them for a while.

Remember this, though YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Big time in the audio biz.

for what you can get a new Jensen amp, you can go to EBAY and bid on a more worthwhile amp and you'll likely end up much happier in the end IME.

I don't want to be an *** , but I would NEVER buy any piece of audio equipment on Ebay. What about warranty? Service? Support?

It's not worth it to me.

plenty of companies sell on ebay, and you'll get their customer service along with it. Just don't bid on a deadbeat seller

Audiovox is the lowest brand they suck. We have them at Kmart. :( Always getting returned. The Jensen's hold up pretty good not a bad brand overall. My friend has one. It works fine only problem is that you can't turn down the volume once you've got it up :D
