Do these things work? I found one on eBay for $90 and I was wondering if this would be a good buy or not? Has anyone had good/bad experiances?

I played around with a friends g-tech. There's some pretty neat features. When I did the 1/4 it seemed accurate to what other cars were going on this board. and the dyno wasnt off too bad.
Its not 100% accurate, but its easily 90% or more. For that cheap I'd get one

My friend has one, and he think its awesome. I've been thinking about getting one, just got to save the money. They have a new one out, it has a graph on the side, and a bunch more features. I think it's suppose to be even more accurate to.2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT 1 of 701
ET : TBD
But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun! G tech!
I tried it out.
I did 4 back to back runs, all dead hooked.
The 1/4 times ranged from mid 14's to mid 15's and at that time I was struggling for 15.3's
Just go to the track or dyno it.

If you're going to use it to just kinda test your car go for it, but I wouldn't suggest telling people your cars runs a XX.XX 1/4 mi by using the G-tech cause they'll ~Derrick My Webpage
\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87 | 162.8 RWHP / 196.7 RWTQ
• SLP CAI • Y87 Package - 3.23s • 180º thermo w/ fan switch • TB spacer from DEE
1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

I've had pretty good luck with my G-tech. I run between a 15.9 and a 16.1 with mine pretty consistantly (keep in mind this is at 3500 feet elevation). When I ran at the track in Florida at sea level I pulled a 10.2 in the 1/8th.
My experience with them has been good.Trucks
\'05 Dodge 3500 Dually Cummins Turbo Diesel
\'98 Dodge 2500 4x4 360 V8 (Wife\'s)
Toys
\'81 Chevy K10 Stroker/Swampers/Custom Suspension/1-Tons/Beadlocks
\'99 Camaro Z28 6 Spd, T-tops, Borla

Real trucks don\'t have spark plugs

The g-tech is fun for the first 20 runs, then you never really use it again. I'd say just go to the track and save your money.1998 Arctic White Camaro
3.8L V6 M5
Flowmaster 80 Series with 3\" tips
Whisper Lid w/ K&N
Flowtech Cutout
Free-Ram Air Mod
Blue Underbody Neon Kit
3 MTX 6000 10\" Subs
Rockford 800a2 Amp
My Camaro
