Well, there is no max depth as I can adjust it. I have recently been building it so it's as low as possible and that makes the depth around 6-3/4" which is good for all 10s and most 12s.

I just don't like seeing the boxes stick up way above the rear seat so that's the reason. Let me know what you have in mind. ;)

Would you be able to go up to 8.25 depth? The depth is the Brahma is 7.25 inches, but i'm not sure if that's before 1 inch of cooling vent space, or after. I'll find out this evening.

Yes. I was originally planning for two of them, but my research has found that with my particular setup, output will be SO close to the same with only one of them(like 1 or 2 dB difference ) that it's not worth the extra $369 for another sub.

Anyway, about the whole customized milhouse. What I was hoping for was to fire the sub into the cabin like a regular well box instead of downwards. Don't like the sound that makes. Then, if possible of course, to have that little recess like your other well boxes do so I can hide the box with the flap when needed. Of course, this is before I knew I needed such a large depth. Would it be possible to somehow add the recess to the milhouse? I guess it wouldn't really be a milhouse anymore after that. I doubt it's possible, or it probably would have been done already. Oh yeah, just one of the suckers weighs in at 39lbs. And......something that I think should be standard on EVERY box no matter who makes it, I want a pair of little circular wire grommet connector things, not just one. I think two should always be standard everywhere per one sub since so many subs are DVC now. To allow for instant re-wiring without having to take the subs out.

Is all this possible? I'll pay extra...

First of all, a 39lb sub is too heavy to be put into the milhouse platform. Actually any of my enclosure that pivot on the hatch panels would be too much with that sub inside.

The best thing for that would be to do a stationary box. Either on the deck or in the well or possibly in a 'glass stealth. My well box is a tank and would sound awesome with that sub, but you probably want t-top storage--don't ya? Any ideas?

Steve I think you're on to something with your passenger side stealth box. Now if you could form that out of fiberglass and replace that whole vinyl pannel you have to pull to get to the spare... that would be SWEET and possibilities would be endless. However, you're working with an entirely different material. It's far fetched, but an idea non the less ;)
