Ok, here's the deal. Recently, my parents bought a '97 Chrysler Concorde. The stereo that came with it was just the basic AM/Cassette deck, not the Infiniy system that comes with some higher models.
The problem is, about a week ago I went to install the Pioneer HU out of their old car into the Chrysler, and when I did the sound quality was absolutely HORRIBLE. It remindded me of the kind of stereo you'd hear in a stock system from the 1960's! Thinking I had messed something up, I put the factory radio back in, and everything worked fine. Needless to say, I am completely stumped. My best guess is that theres some sort of compatibilty issue, and that I either need to run all new wiring, or they should just buy a facotry Chrysler CD player to put in it. ANy ideas you guys have would be great!
