Hi, I'm getting two pairs of Infinity Kappa 652.5i 6-3/4" 2-Way Speakers for my bird and I currently have a low level Pioneer cd receiver (pretty new, but nothing fancy) with the MOSFET50 chip and all. My question is do I need an amplifier for these speakers? I really dont have much money (these are an XMAS present, I have zero dollars) Also, how much power would i need for them if i did (75x4 at 4ohms? 50x4?) If its not going to make a massive difference then i'm sticking with what i have now to save myself $200+ on an amp. Any comments on how good these should sound with my receiver compared to stock old speakers (no monsoon or trunk speakers)
