buying stuff that is hot is not a cool thing to do. If they were stolen from someone, you're just supporting the *** that did it. Plus, if he screwed something up taking them from wherever by cutting wires or something else, you're gonna be screwed. If wires were cut for video display, you're gonna spend about 200 bucks (or more) getting them to work. The screens likely would have been "bruised" when they were taking them from wherever.
On the other hand, it sounds like a good deal on something. look for the cut wires, and make sure all the harnesses are there, it gets damned expensive to replace those and then you gotta call up everyone to find them, you go to the stereo shop and ask for a harness cause you bought this DVD player, but you don't have the harness, they're gonna know exactly why that is and that's up to them how they handle it.
most likely the screens could be used for PS2.
If you're looking to have those mounted in your head rest, be prepared to spend at least $500 per head rest to get them put in. If you're putting them anywhere else, plan on more than that.
All in all, you're probably getting in to something that sounds much better than it is. Good luck either way. Even if it's not that expensive to purchase stuff, as an admitted newbie, you're not ready to be installing stuff in to your headrests or other dash locations.

$300 GET IT ALL!!!
Those things are expensive as hell!! Yes they can be used for your PS2 if hooked up to your HU, and the PS2 is your auxilary input.
If this stuff is stolen then you might have some problems getting them to work properly again. Who knows how they took them out, if they were damaged or anything.
Then there are the install issues, the kind of thing you're talking about is not for an amateur to try out. It should be done by a proffesional, or a car audio guy that knows exactly what he's doing. Either way it'll be hard to do without spending $$$$$$$$.
Good Luck!! Get it all and give me some :D If it's "Hot" I'd say no go. Cause most jack-in-the-Boxes just cut the wires to get them out. Also your supporting the weiner that did it.\'02 Corvette Z06
