SubThump.com is a popular f-body box maker. they have great innovative designs that allow you to keep T-Tops and one that utilizes the flap cover that covers the rear well (millhouse boxes). I would look into that. I was talked out of getting a Q-Logic. The subs are great. JL is known for great quality. I have been out of the amp scene for a while so I'll let someone else take over.

If you see your headlights dim a lot, get a HO alt, they make them in 180amp version at www.4alterstart.com and they go for around $200 to your door with lifetime warantee.
Upgrade your wire from your alt to your battery with at least 4 gauge. And from the (NEG) from your battery to the chasis.
I have 0 gauge from my alt to the batt, and 0 gauge ground to the chasis and it helps a lot.

so i should use a 4 gauge wire for the ground wire also? basically from teh battery to the chassis/motor

yes run a 4 gauge or thicker from the neg (-) to a solid ground. Right now you have something like 8 gauge for a factory ground.
