is the q logic box just a cover that goes over top a sub box?

The q-logic consists of a carpeted box (which is built out of particle board btw) and it has a plastic cover over top of it.

I have two setups that are way better. The first being my well enclosure. The second is I make a replacement box for the q that is made out of mdf and has more air space. Both will pound way harder than the q. :D

would i be able to use one of your boxes with the q logic cover? so your saying if i bought the q logic from one of the manufacturers i would get a box plus the q logic custom cover?

That's right, the q-logic enclosure includes the sub box and the cover. But what I'm saying is that you don't need the particle board speaker box part. You can get a mdf one off me and it will sound way better and weigh 20-30lbs less. Then you can buy the plastic q-logic cover off ebay or something real cheap and have the whole thing but better.
