What else do I need for the install? Is it easiest to just buy a kit of all the wiring that I will need? Ive seen some on ebay for around $25... Is that a good deal? I am going to try to make a box like those millhouse ones because I love the idea and the worksmanship from what I have seen at (subthump.com) but $250 is a little steep for a box i could make myself for much less.

Yes, it is easiest to buy an amp install kit and yes $25 is a good price for one. It should come with a fuse and fuse holder, about 15+ft. of power wire, ground wire, little blue remote wire and various connectors. Some come with RCAs as well. It is not hard at all to make your own box and install you gear, just exercise some patience.

Make sure you get some twisted pair RCA's and a reasonable sized power cable for the ammount of power you're running. The best components aren't going to be worth anything if they can't get power. I bought a full Rockford Fosgate 4aug multi-amp install kit (because I plan on adding a second amp soon for my mids) and it ran me about $110 new but that's including everything. Fuse's, fuse holder, 4aug power/ground cable, grounding block, power splitter w/ fuses... anything you'd ever need. I'm not saying go out and spend $110... but everyone around here runs the radio shack crap and have no idea how much it's holding them back.
