  • Interference in my front speakers when i added amp/sub

i put in an amp and sub about a month ago and since then my front speakers sound like they are picking up some sort of interference (like a ringing noise) when certain bass frequencies play. i cant make much sense of the problem honestly cause the speakers didnt do it before the amp/sub and i dont see how that would affect my speakers up front anyhow? the speakers up front are the newer style 6 3/4 pionner 4-ways, im starting to think it may be them, but they didnt do it before like i said, help is appreciated!

Is the power wire and the rca's ran in the same location?

man, i forgot i posted this haha, but no, i have them running opposite of each other. im starting to think that when i hid the wires up under the trim running down the side of the doors that when i put the screws back in i might have punctured one of the wires, or even gone through the wires, would this give me that interference?

Yeah if the screw punctured the RCA's it will usually cause some type of noise but the noise would more than likely be constant, not just from bass frequencies. Double check the RCA's and maybe even take a look at your ground wires on your amp. Did you check for any loose panels or brackets anywhere?
