did you not see the link? usually when someone takes the time to give you a link you should click it and read the info found within. Caps are bandaids but sometimes are a viable solution. My friends blazer kept having problems till we put the cap in. However he didnt want a HO alt for some reason which i believe would have solved the problem.

No, you buy the wire buy the foot. You can get it anywhere someone sells car audio. Look around at your local shops or you can get it online.

BTW where are you going to put a 3.5 cu ft box? I am guessing it's a normal square box.

Stock maybe 8awg but I think its 10awg. You can get the wire from pepboys but I would go to a stereo shop. You will be fine with 4awg unless you are going bigger later.

You won't use more than a couple feet. You will leave the stock wires on.

                          1) Open the hood.
                          2) Locate the battery.
                          3) From both the Negative and Positive terminals on the battery, locate where the wires go. Upgrade/change those wires to THICKER wires (4-awg or thicker).

Its not hard to do man, just make the wires thicker.
