No. Those are the bottom of the line audiobahn's and I bet that box is a peice of crap. You will also find not many people here like any sony car audio product including me. Go with www.subthump.com for a box. What amp do you plan on using?

Why do you want good subs and a cheap box? The right box will determine what it sounds like. You can buy walmart subs and a walmart amp but, have them in the box thats made to specs and sound better then good subs/amp in a crappy box. If cost is your issue save til you can afford it.

ok thanks. i just got my car and i am not really familiar with steroes. i think i am going to get the side stealth box with a 12" sub or mabe 10". I dont need a lot of power. Would i still need a amp or could i run it off the back speakers?

You say that know... Always run a sub off an AMP.

I believe the only place you can find a 12" stealth box is subthump. (except from BJ from back in the day) And even that is only on the passenger side. Just to make sure, you're willing to give up the spare tire and jack? Then cool. If you're looking for a cheap but decent sub, the Kicker Comp Vr's aren't too bad. 70 bucks. Maybe go with the dual 2 ohm version here:

and pick up a 2-channel amp running in bridged mode.
