eclipse rules!

just had to post this advice to anyone looking at a new head unit. eclipse has a h/u that puts out 16V through its preamps and another that does 8V. the clarity that i heard come from one of thes with old 1001dx and 404m xtant amps , and an eclipse aluminum subwoofer and infinity kappa speakers was increadible. also the comander advance unit has some cool options to go with the hu's. it ads mp3, voice activation, and even interacts with your car alarm, phone, theft deterents and all kinds of cool shiznit. i would tel any one who hasn't looked at this stuff to go to eclipses site and check it out. still dont like their amps though (.1% thd is to high for me)

And most people over-look their amps too. But Eclipse has always had very clean and well-made audio sections in their amplifiers, and been the leader in sound quality performance [img]smile.gif[/img] I miss my Eclipse head unit, the old 5303R (it was stolen from my car :( ) I used to be in audio/electronics retail before I got into retailing auto parts.
