  • mp3 compatible?

    I just got a small personal mp3 player for christmas. is there any headunit out there where i can hook my player up to it and upload my songs without using a memory stick? im talking about a straight link with a USB cable or something. thanks

    all u need to get is a HU w/ aux inputs. i also got a mp3 player for xmas and im goin to buy and adapter to use it w/ my monsoon i dont wanna change the HU.

      or you can get an FM modulator and have it set to "broadcast" on a certian frequency and run it thru your antenna wire, kinda like an old school nintendo patched into your TV

        Some headunits have aux. inputs (Aiwa, pioneer sells accessories that give you one, etc). Sony has a head unit that has a 40gig harddrive built into it that you can upload MP3's to. You can use an FM modulator but the sound quality wont be as good.

          You can use the PIE GM9-Aux adapter with the stock headunit:



          I have this. I use it to connect my MD player and works fine. If your stock HU has the CD/Play or Tape/Play button, it will work.
